Fans Flood Ronnie's 20 For Harry Potter Midnight Opening

Fans aged in their 20s descended on Ronnie's 20 for the midnight opening early Friday of what's billed as the final film about kid wizard-in-training Harry Potter.

While Ronnie's 20 is right here on Lindbergh Boulevard, AMC Theaters at Crestwood Plaza have Harry Potter's latest flick running in two theaters, one of them in 3D (rated PG-13) at 2 hours 10 minutes.

• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2     3pm, 6:10pm, 9:15pm
• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-Part 2 3D; 1pm,  4:05pm, 7pm, 10pm

Many devotees at Ronnie's midnight showing were costumed in the style of their favorite characters from the hugely popular books by author J.K. Rowling.

Rowling, a Brit, once eked by on state welfare, but no longer—not since the release of her first Harry Potter novel in 1997. At age 45, she's a billionaire according to Forbes and the 12th richest woman in the UK.
