“You have to take lessons before you get a drivers license. The same is true for firearms. Cars driven poorly are killers – and guns handled poorly do the same thing.”
Get your firearms training from a professional firearms instructor who ...has listed experience and who knows the law concerning the use of force in Missouri. Also, make sure your instructor is certified in the county you live in and is insured as well.
The best firearms instructors are those who have worked the streets as cops, taught police officers the legal justification to shoot and how to increase their chances of survival in a deadly force encounter.
On July 20th (Saturday) I'm instructing the 8-hour Missouri Concealed Carry Training Class in Hillsboro Missouri from 9-5. Price is $100 per person and I supply a full lunch. This 8-hour course is required by law before applying for a Missouri CCW permit.
The below link should explain everything about my course, background and experience.
