Eight members of the JDRF Ride Team enjoyed great weather in the recent La Crosse, Wisconsin Ride to Cure Diabetes. La Crosse is an historic, vibrant city with a flair for the old and a sprinkle of the new. Nestled between the bluffs of Wisconsin and the Mississippi River, Each of the 230 participating National riders navigated a course that started in La Crosse and crossed three states, two bridges, and one mighty river. Everyone agreed that riding in Wisconsin was some of the best biking in the Midwest.
JDRF is the leading global charitable supporter of T1D (type 1 diabetes) research. The goal of JDRF is to improve the lives of every person affected by T1D (insulin-dependence) by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for better treating, curing and preventing the disease.Â
