Lindbergh School District Kindergarten Registration Dates Set

The has announced kindergarten registration dates for the 2012-13 school year. Parents whose last names begin with A-C should register on March 5; D-G on March 6; H-L on March 7; M-R on March 8; and S-Z on March 9. Registration hours are 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. 

All kindergarten students register at the elementary school they will attend:

• Concord, 10305 Concord School Road,  314-729-2436
• Crestwood, 1020 S. Sappington Road, 314-729-2430
• Kennerly, 10025 Kennerly Road, 314-729-2440
• Long, 9021 Sappington Road, 314-729-2450
• Sappington, 11011 Gravois Road, 314-729-2460

Parents or court-appointed legal guardians should bring:

• An official birth certificate issued by the Bureau of Vital Statistics
• The child’s immunization records
• Social Security card
• Two proofs of parent’s residency, which must be: a real estate or personal property tax bill, rental or purchase contract plus deposit receipt, or an IRS tax return, in addition to a current utility bill.

According to state law, a child must be 5 years old before Aug. 1, 2012, to attend kindergarten in August 2012.

Lindbergh Schools offers both half-day and full-day kindergarten programs. Parents who cannot register on their scheduled day should call the school as soon as possible to arrange an alternative time.
