Lindbergh Schools Board of Education Prepares for School Year

Tonight's board meeting agenda focuses on recognition, review of school opening activities.

Tonight's Lindbergh Schools Board of Education agenda is full of back-to-school business. After an MSBA August board report, students, schools, citizens, programs and personnel will be recognized for their work over the summer. 

The Dressel rededication is an item, followed by an open session for statements from citizens. Communications items include a report of state and parent group meetings and announcements. 

A special report item on school readiness will be addressed, along with a 2011-2012 school year theme.

Budget adjustments and designation of a compliance officer, safety officer, foster care coordinator and homeless coordinator are action items.

Toward the end of the night's agenda, there will be a Prop-R 2008 update, as well as a review of school opening activities.

Prior to the open board meeting, an executive session meeting will take place. Tentative agenda items include an administrator's retirement and a Lindbergh certified resignation, along with personnel discussions.

The open session begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Lindbergh Early Childhood Education Building at 4814 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
