Lindbergh Schools Earns Another Perfect Audit
For 22 years in a row now, Lindbergh has received the best audit opinion a school district can get.

Independent CPA auditing firm Kerber, Eck & Braeckel LLP presented a perfect audit for Lindbergh Schools at the Nov. 13 Board of Education meeting. Per state law, Lindbergh Schools is required to bring in an independent firm every other year to audit the district’s books; however, the district chooses to perform an audit annually. This was the third year the audit was performed by KEB.
“It’s good to get a fresh set of eyes on our books,” said Chuck Triplett, assistant superintendent of finance. “This is a CPA firm that is totally independent from the district and they audit according to their legal and professional standards.”
For 22 years in a row now, Lindbergh has received an “unqualified” rating, the best audit opinion a school district can get. The audit did not find any instances of noncompliance or deficiencies.

“We take pride in our fiscal responsibility at Lindbergh, but validation from a third-party, independent auditor is a reassuring confirmation that our practices are sound,” said Dr. Vic Lenz, board president.
