Lindbergh Senior Completes Rock 'n' Roll Marathon

Mitchell Soden completed the marathon as part of a team that raised more than $300,000 for Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK).

Congratulations to Lindbergh High School senior Mitchell Soden, who completed the St. Louis Rock ‘n’ Roll half marathon Oct. 21 as a member of TASK Force, helping raise more than $300,000 for Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK).

TASK Force was the charitable partner for this year’s Rock ‘n’ Roll race. Mitchell was congratulated for his achievement by his sister, ninth-grader Christine Soden (left), and LHS junior Danielle Scroggs (right). The students’ parents, Janet Soden and Ginny Scroggs walked the half marathon for team TASK Force as well. Founded in 1996, Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK) has been focused on creating a safe, accepting environment where special young athletes have the opportunity to enjoy sports, recreation, and social activities. TASK bought a permanent home this past year in the Lindbergh School district on Horan Road in Fenton. Learn more at www.tasksports.org.
