Money Stolen from Friendship Village Resident

A Friendship Village resident reported a theft at their residence on the 12500 block of Village Circle around 1:45 p.m. on Aug. 29. Approximately $102 was taken, according to police reports.

It is the second theft at the senior living facility in the past month. A , valued at $4,500, on Aug. 13. Police said Lynnette Michel, of Bella Villa, pawned one ring and sold the other to a gold dealer to get money to buy heroin, according to a previous Patch report.
