Preview: City of Crestwood’s Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Tonight
The Board of Aldermen will hear a request from GJ Grew Incorporated to put a new exercise facility at Watson Plaza.

The Crestwood Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday. After the call to order, recital of the Pledge of Allegiance, roll call and approval of minutes from the previous meeting, the board will hold a hearing.
During the hearing, the board of aldermen will discuss a request from Bill Appelbaum of GJ Grewe Incorporated for the approval of a conditional use permit that would allow the operation of a fitness center in the space previously occupied by Factory Card Outlet, located at 343 Watson Plaza.
According to city code, notices will be sent to property owners within 300 feet of the Watson Plaza property.

“All interested persons may attend these meetings and will be given an opportunity to be heard,” said Mayor Jeff Schlink in a notice to the city. “Development plans can be viewed in the Public Works Department.”
Following the hearing and discussion, the aldermanic report will be issued, followed by the report from the director of public services.
