(St. Louis, MO)  Families and fitness enthusiasts will enjoy a special celebration during the 22nd Annual Run for Sight at St. Louis Union Station! The event includes opportunities for individuals and teams to participate in a 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk, Kid’s 1 Mile Dash and a non-competitive Kid’s STL 250 Birthday Dash.  Both sighted and visually impaired children are encouraged to participate in this short (1/8 mile), inclusive Fun Run honoring the 250th birthday of St. Louis. You won’t want to miss the STL 250 Birthday Bash, which takes place right after the races – live music, a performance by Circus Harmony acrobats, cupcakes, and an awards presentation - recognizing the best race finishers and top fund raising teams!

The best part of this event is all proceeds directly benefit the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments - funding education, therapy and family support services.  The Run for Sight has grown into a popular family event that attracts over 2,000 thousand participants, who help raise $100,000.  Many families that receive services from the Delta Gamma Center set up fundraising teams, as do local companies and other community groups
