• Schools welcome new teachers and staff members (farmerpublishing.com) — A Tarkio resident, Andrea Meek-Gronquist, has joined Fairfax R-3 as the new payroll and benefits administrator, bringing a business management degree and state agency experience to the district. Another staff member, Krystan Hines, also has ties to Tarkio, while several other new teachers and support staff are settling into roles in Fairfax and Rock Port schools for the 2026–27 year.
