TOWN AND COUNTRY, MO (April 25, 2012) –  The AdvancEd/North Central Accreditation Visiting Team that spent two days at CBC last month found the school is operating at a highly functional level in 6 of 7 standards reviewed, and is at an "operational" level on one standard. The Visiting Team also affirmed CBC's status as a fully accredited school.
Mike England, CBC's President, gathered with faculty and staff members with the news that not only had CBC maintained its accreditation, the Visiting Team found signs of excellence in several different areas.

The Visiting Team is required to make recommendations of which they made one which is: CBC must fully implement our School Improvement Plan within the next two years.
The Self-Assessment includes seven standards that need to be addressed. A great amount of work goes into answering multiple questions associated with each standard. The Visiting Team then rates each of the standards. Possible rating fall into four categories: 1) Highly Functional, 2) Operational, 3) Emerging, or 4) Not Evident. Â
In order for a school to be accredited, the school must receive ratings of Highly Functional or Operational. CBC received six (6) Highly Functional ratings and one (1) Operational rating. No school has ever received seven (7) Highly Functional ratings. CBC received as high of a rating as the Visiting Team has ever given.  The breakdown of the ratings and the standards are:
