CBC's Championship Field Taking Shape

Workers have put down the first strips of artificial turf at W. Michael Ross Stadium '66 and Klemm Field.

The "Championship Field" project began in mid-May and will continue through July 2012.

The turf was purchased from the New Orleans Saints. The turf also hosted the 2012 BCS National Football Championship Game, won by Alabama 21-0 over LSU.
