Des Peres Girl Scouts participate in the Fall Product Program

Des Peres area Girl Scouts were at the local Schnucks last weekend participating in the Fall Product Program. The Girl Scout Juniors engaged with customers as they left the store by speaking with them about the benefits of purchasing Fall Product. This troop in particular had enthusiasm that was no doubt a reason why their sales were exceptional. Halfway through their selling time the girls had sold more than 40 items. Customers were delighted to stop and talk to the girls on their way out of the store.

Girl Scouts will continue to sell Fall Product at stores throughout eastern Missouri through December 9. Girls who participate in the Fall Product Program learn five skills necessary for leadership: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. In addition to those skills, girls will learn E-Business as they are able to sell product online that will ship directly to the customer or gift recipient.

Fall Products available this year include Peppermint Bark, Dulce de Leches, Peanut Butter Cups, Pecan Supremes and GORP Trail Mix. Prices range from $5 to $20. Customers can find a booth in their area by clicking here.
