Fourth graders at in Manchester participated in Fishing Day at August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area on Wednesday, May 16.
Parent volunteers helped students bait hooks and practice casting and fishing.
They caught some big ones! Volunteers also helped students conduct water tests, clean a fish and identify its parts, cook and taste some samples and observe and explore the pond area habitat.
