Manchester Arts, a new, arts organization with members from Manchester and other west county communities hosted its first concert on Sunday, Sept 9. The Sunday concert was part of Manchester Homecoming weekend. A variety of musical groups presented, including a twenty-four piece strings orchestra made of Parkway School District current and retired string teachers. Also presenting were the Zelle Family 5 (a Manchester family); a concert for kids featuring Peter Chow on clarinet and Rick Zelle on keyboard; and two brass groups: a tuba quartet and a brass quintet, led by Jeremy Knudtson.
