Maryville University's School of Education hosted a birthday spectacular for Dr. Seuss this Sunday, Feb. 26. Volunteer alumni, faculty and students planned an afternoon featuring a lot of fun educational activities.
Organizers planned the gathering for School of Education alumni and their relatives. The event gave alumni a chance to develop ties with current education students. Sam Hausfather, Ph.D, dean of Maryville's School of Education in west St. Louis County said, "We expect this to lay the foundation for continued interaction between our teaching alumni and future teachers."
