MICDS TO HOST ELECTRONICS RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL DRIVE

The St. Louis community is invited to participate in this event on April 5 and 6.

Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS) is partnering with Midwest Recycling Center to host a community-wide Electronics Recycling and Disposal Drive on Friday, April 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Parking Lot C (off Ladue Road) on the MICDS campus. Students and volunteers will staff the event.

Most electronic devices will be able to be disposed of or recycled at the event free of charge, including: computers, printers, keyboards, laptops, erased hard drives, cell phones, pagers, radios, scanners, speakers, VCR, DVD, fax machines, answering machines, stereos, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioners, microwaves, power tools, kitchen appliances, rechargeable batteries.

Television sets are limited to one per car. Smoke detectors, gas lamps, alkaline batteries and light bulbs are NOT eligible for recycling.
