SCHNUCKS AND SARTORI CHEESE RAISE FUNDS TO BENEFIT MAKE-A-WISH® WHILE HONORING WISH CHILD FROM WISCONSIN

On Feb. 22, Schnucks Cheese Shoppe Managers Debbie Campbell of Woods Mill and Marian Fiore of Richmond Center were honored with first and second place, respectively, for their parts in helping to raise $3,000 for Make-A-Wish®.

The program, featuring the award-winning Sartori Limited Edition Pastorale Blend cheese, ran from Oct. 1, 2012 – Jan. 15, 2013, and was designed to benefit Make-A-Wish® Missouri and Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin, where this event had special meaning.  Wisconsin is home to the family of Madeline (Maddie) MacDonald, a seven year old who recently lost her hard fought battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).  Sartori donated $1 for every pound of Pastorale Blend cheese sold during the contest period.
