Vantage Credit Union Honors Students at Scholarship Receptione

Four area high school seniors were honored Wednesday night, April 24, at a scholarship award reception hosted by Vantage Credit Union at Dave & Busters in Earth City.

Vantage employees and executives were on hand to congratulate the students and present them each with a $1,000 scholarship. The winners, listed in alphabetical order by school name, include: Christian Brothers College, Steve Ampleman; Lafayette High School, Mallory Brown; St. Louis University High School, Jordan Gibson; and Villa Duchesne High School, Nicole Saville.

Winners of the 2012 Quest For Education Scholarships were judged on a combination of student-written essays; appropriate honors and awards; participation in extracurricular, community and volunteer activities; recommendation letters; and credit union membership. Volunteer scholarship judges consisted of local educators, Vantage Board and Supervisory Committee members, and select employees.
