Vantage Credit Union awarded Charo Davis, a Vantage credit union member of 22 years, Visa gift cards totaling $2,500 Saturday at the Bridgeton branch. Davis was automatically entered for her chance to win in the credit union’s mortgage loan promotion after applying for, and closing on, a mortgage loan during the months of May and June. She was randomly chosen from all the qualifying loans received during the promotional period.
Davis, who was ready to purchase her own home, read about the promotion while online and decided to try it. She was pleasantly surprised to hear she had won, mentioning she has never won anything like this before.
“What a great surprise! You incur so many additional expenses when closing on a home, so the gift cards are a little extra bonus to help with these out-of-pocket expenses,” said Davis. “Plus, I can do something I might not have otherwise, which is to buy my children some new furniture.”
