West County Center Celebrates 10th Anniversary and Aims to Raise $10,000 for Charity -- Eagle Bank And Trust Co-Sponsor Commemorative Banner Fund Raising Effort

West County Center, the region’s premiere fashion destination, is gearing up to celebrate its 10 year anniversary on September 20. Along with festive events planned for area families and shoppers, officials with the center are pleased to announce two community outreach projects in an effort to raise $10,000 for Rebuilding Together-St. Louis.
Now through September 19, the mall is partnering with Eagle Bank And Trust to invite shoppers and residents of all ages to sign a 10th Anniversary Commemorative Banner. For a $1 donation, the public is encouraged to stop by the banner display on the lower level near Nordstrom to sign their name. Eagle Bank And Trust will donate $1 – up to $5,000 – for every signature on the banner.
In addition, on September 20 from 9:30 to 11:30am, to kick off a three day anniversary celebration, area children are invited to make a handprint tile which will go on permanent display in the center’s Family Lounge. For a $5 donation, kids up to age 12 can make their mark and all proceeds will go toward the $10,000 fund raising goal.

“West County Center is a focal point in the St. Louis region, and we are committed to being active in the community,” said Sean Phillips, regional marketing director for CBL Malls, owner and manager of the mall. “The commemorative banner and the handprint tile event are terrific opportunities for the public to be part of our future and to help raise funds for Rebuilding Together -St. Louis which assists area homeowners in need.”
Rebuilding Together – St. Louis is an affiliate of a national volunteer organization. It revitalizes neighborhoods in partnership with the community by rehabilitating the houses of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly and the disabled, so that they may continue to live independently in comfort and safety. Rebuilding Together – St. Louis also renews neighborhoods by rebuilding community centers, playgrounds and other community projects.
