On Saturday, October 15, the Westminster Wildcats defeated the Jennings Warriors 14-8 in the first round of district football. Westminster relied heavily on its running game to sustain drives and bleed the clock. The Wildcats controlled the pace of the game all four quarters, and thanks to some big stops on the defensive side of the ball, made the last home game a memorable one.Â
