Westminster Spanish Language Students Achieve Recognition in 2013 National Spanish Examinations
Several world language students from Westminster Christian Academy received national recognition for outstanding performance on the 2013 National Spanish Examinations.
Students were awarded a total of four gold, eight silver, and 15 bronze medals, in addition to 43 honorable mentions. A special mention goes to Jennie Albertson, a Spanish III student, who scored at the 99th percentile.
“Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish Examinations is very prestigious,” said Kevin Cessna-Buscemi, National Director of the Exams, “because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with over 156,000 students participating in 2013.”
