Bank of America Gives More than $200K in Grants to St. Louis-area Nonprofits

Bank of America St. Louis Market President Jackie Yoon helped present 14 nonprofits with grant check as part of Give STL Day

Town & Country resident and Bank of America St. Louis Market President Jackie Yoon recently helped present 14 area nonprofits with Workforce Development and Education Grants from Bank of America on Gives STL Day.

The grants, which totaled more than $200,000, were given to 27 nonprofits throughout the St. Louis metro area in the last several weeks, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center and Teach for America.

As Bank of America knows that addressing issues that are fundamentally connected to economic mobility—like access to workforce development opportunities—is critical to building a pathway to economic progress, it focuses its philanthropic and volunteer support on nonprofits that are connecting youth, the unemployed and underemployed gain the skills and workforce experience needed to succeed. With a productive workforce in place, the St. Louis community can grow sustainably, which is why Bank of America partners with nonprofit organizations that are driving local solutions.
