Manchester Arts, the municipal arts council forming in Manchester, is giving a “sneak peak” of their programming on Sunday, September 9th at Manchester’s Homecoming celebration.  There is something for everyone, including the kiddos:

Amphitheater in Schroeder Park

 

12:30 – 1:15                Parkway Chamber Strings –

An ensemble of current and retired Parkway School District string teachers.  Students – check it out, see if your teacher is playing!   

 

 1:30 – 2:00                 Zelle Family Performers –

A family of performers making their debut at Homecoming!

Rick Zelle, Jr, piano/ vocals; Karen Zelle, vocals; Rick Zelle III, bass/vocals; Cary  Zelle, drums/vocals; Randy Zelle, guitar/vocals

 

 2:15 - 2:45                  Mini-Concert for Kids –

Peter Chow, clarinet; Karen Zelle, narrator/leader; Rick Zelle, keyboard, explore the sounds of nature through music in Schroeder Park.

 

 3:00 – 4:00                 Brass and More Brass!

Performance by a Tuba Quartet and a Brass Ensemble  

 

Visual artist Bill Vivrett, featured on this blog, will also be painting LIVE near the Amphitheater. Come see these artists at work!
