Angel Arms, which was formed in 2000, is a local charity that provides homes for foster parents and children. Since then, it has changed the lives of over 250 children, including over 50 sibling groups by providing them with a loving home and allowing them to thrive in a happy, functional family setting.

“Children who enter an Angels’ Arms home are always met with acceptance and love and immediately learn about their role in their new family,” said Bess Wilfong, Founder and Executive Director of Angels’ Arms. “Countless foster children don’t know how a family unit works or what it means to be a part of a family, but the house parents quickly involve these foster children in activities such as chores, extra-curricular activities, homework, eating together as a family, sharing, peaceful problem solving, and so much more.”

Angels’ Arms helps their foster children live normal lives by providing items and experiences like clothing, birthday celebrations, music lessons and instruments, sports camps and equipment, tutoring, braces, and much more.

“Simply put, every child who enters in an Angels’ Arms home is welcomed with open arms to experience a loving and fulfilling life by being part of a caring family,” said Wilfong.
