Coldwell Banker Gundaker's St. Charles County Office Hosts Shred/Recycle Day on April 30

ST. CHARLES, MO (April 27, 2016) – Coldwell Banker Gundaker’s St. Charles County office will hold a Shred/Recycle Day on Saturday, April 30. Stop by 2101 Bluestone Drive in St. Charles from 9:00 a.m. to noon and dispose of old documents and electronics on-site free of charge.

Attendees will also be able to safely dispose of all computer-related equipment including desktop and laptop computers, cables, printers, VCRs, video game systems and phones. Electronics such as televisions or computer monitors will be recycled for a small fee between $10 and $20 to ensure the disposal of hazardous material results in zero landfill.

“We’re happy to provide this service to the community and take advantage of the only truck in the St. Louis area with the ability to pulverize from American Document Destruction,” said Chuck Martoia, branch manager of the Coldwell Banker Gundaker St. Charles County office.

Rubber bands, staples, paperclips, and bendable clips do not need to be removed from documents for shredding. Removal of three-ring binders or heavy metal clips is necessary.

Donate Gently-Used Shoes at Shred Day

The St. Charles County office is asking the community is being asked to bring gently used shoes they no long want to donate on Shred Day. The shoes are given to Shoes & Hope, a 501C3 organization headquartered in St. Charles County that is dedicated to working with communities in the developing world to address clean water, hygiene & sanitation, and health & nutrition. It is able to sell the shoes and use that money for its programs and impact.
