Day Cools Down at Parkway Shape-Up
Parkway West hosts a lively day of fitness, despite ominous gray skies and chilly spring winds.
hosted a day of fun and healthy activities for children and their families on the school's football field Sunday afternoon. The event kicked off with a 5K race and featured an inflatable bounce house, slides and a climbing wall. A central stage hosted student performances, hip-hop singers and a play presented by one of the event sponsors, Delta Dental. A variety of costumed performers wandered through the health expo booths, adding to the festive spirit of the day.
