Dogs Steal the Show at Howl and Yowl
Country Acres holds its fifth annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest.
This weekend, held its fifth annual Howl and Yowl, a three day Halloween event for pets and people alike. This year's Howl and Yowl featured booths, games for people, games for pets, food, live music, pumpkin painting, face painting, a haunted house, and the highlight of the weekend- the annual Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest.
Nicole Thompson, Country Acres Rescue President and Founder, estimates that between 1,500 and 2,000 people visited the Howl and Yowl this year. The free event did feature pay-to-play games and food, with all proceeds going toward the rescuing of animals.
