22nd Annual St. Louis Earth Day Festival: “Be the Change”

You are invited to “Be the Change” in honor of this year’s Earth Day celebration on Sunday, April 17th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Muny Grounds of Forest Park. Enjoy two stages of live music, cultural performances, local food and hands-on activities for the whole family at the 22nd Annual St. Louis Earth Day Festival. Over 200 artists, educational exhibitors, food vendors, businesses and organizations will share how they are “Being the Change”, and how you can too!

A collection event for hard-to-recycle items makes its debut at the Festival. The Recycling Extravaganza will take place in the parking lot of the St. Louis Community College Forest Park campus, off Oakland Avenue 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Two shuttles, one biodiesel and one compressed natural gas, will transport guests to the event grounds. A full list of acceptable items, including computers, electronics, appliances, clothes, art supplies, bicycles and even tooth brushes, will be published on stlouisearthday.org so you can plan your spring cleaning accordingly. Proceeds from the collection benefit St. Louis Earth Day and its partnering organizations.
