The four New Testament Gospels record seven "words," or sayings, from the crucified Jesus of Nazareth. Our class will dive into this dark and troubling pool as a Lenten exercise of exploring prayerfully what authentic light lies therein. Incorporating literary and spiritual insights, as well as the music of Joseph Haydn's "The Seven Last Words of Our Savior on the Cross" we'll lean into one saying a week. The class is led by Terry Minchow-Proffitt in Anniversary Hall at the church.
