A Bed Turning by Irene Wirsing:  There will be a stack of 10 or more quilts displayed on a double-bed size piece of plywood.  Two people will lift each quilt while description and history is shared with the audience.  Featured will be the circa late 1800’s quilt from the Triplett Family and the Historic Houses of Manchester quilt.

Experience a complete “Dressing of a Proper Victorian Lady” one layer at a time, with authentic period clothing dating back to the 1800’s.  From pantaloons, petticoats, corsets, and bustles…to ensembles, hats, and accessories, you will re-visit an era of refinement and elegance presented by Phyllis Wirsing Schilling.
