Tour the raingarden project at Deer Creek Park in Maplewood, at 3200 Laclede Station Road, and learn how this landscaping project is improving the Deer Creek watershed and the stream’s water quality. Carrie Coyne, senior associate with SWT Design, registered landscape architect, and Grow Native! committee chair will be your guide. This event is in advance of the Whole Foods Market Community Support Day for the Missouri Prairie Foundation on April 18. The April 13 tour is free and open to landscaping and park professionals, homeowners, and other landscaping enthusiasts. (Please park in the western parking lot of the park, closest to Deer Creek.)
