A Cordage bracelet is string, twine, and rope made by hand twisting hemp fibers (an ancient method going back 23 thousand years). Children as young as 6 or 7 can learn this craft in a few minutes. Nature’s Crayons is the use of natural materials such as flowers and leaves to make pictures or designs by rubbing them on paper. The purpose of these crafts, besides being fun to do, is to reconnect children (and adults) to the natural world in creative ways.
