Spring is here, and it’s time to start doing your spring cleaning. We are going to help by having the following recycling vendors at our store:  RNA Worldwide will be recycling all electrical/metal items (including large appliances), Flooring Systems, Inc. collects broadloom carpet, carpet tiles and pads, and Remains, Inc. will be accepting used clothing, household linens and textile draperies in trash bags as well as paired usable shoes, purses and belts, hard single type toys less than 12”, soft toys less than 12” and usable books (no encyclopedias, magazines or Reader Digest). St. Louis BWorks recycles bicycles, and Shoeman Water Project collects new or gently worn shoes. STL Green (WWW.STLOUISGREEN.COM) is also joining us to share information about how to empower others to learn about and implement green lifestyles through recycling programs like the Holiday Light Recycling Drive, Furniture and Metal to Food and the recently acquired Pots to Planks program.  The St. Louis Green website also serves as an online "hub" for all things green happening throughout the St. Louis region. All vendors will be outside on our parking lot.
