The hillside was full of excited kiddos and parents waiting their turn; the lines were long. Other activities for children were face painting and balloon animals and shapes.

Local musicians, Treehouse, performed popular hit songs from the past few decades along with a few of their original tunes.

Everyone enjoyed the variety of wares from food and beverage vendors.

Sponsor of the event, Mari de Villa Luxury Retirement Living, got the crowd excited as they launched T-shirts into the crowd with a big sling shot made from huge rubber bands. Other sponsors of the event include: Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Scottrade-Maryville University, Coldwell Banker Gundaker and Town & Country Office-Commerce Bank.

The evening ended with an impressive fireworks display at dusk coordinated to music.
