BEN NORDSTROM - A FAREWELL CABARET in Manchester
Where: The performance will be on Sunday, at 7 p.m. at Church.
Why go: Ben Nordstrom will perform a Farewell Cabaret with music director, Neal Richardson.
Pricing: Admission is free, however a free-will offering will be accepted. A portion of proceeds will benefit Room At The Inn which provides shelter and food for homeless women and families in the St. Louis area.
THE TOP 2 HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS FOODS: GREENS AND GRAINS in Town and Country
Where: Class will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at in Town and Country.
Why go: Angelina Bertani-Deweese, certified holistic health vcounselor, will offer simple recipes for greens and grains that may increase energy, reduce sugar and caffeine cravings and help the body lose weight naturally.
Pricing: The cost is $25, and reservations are required.

CHINESE CULTURE DAYS at the Missouri Botanical Garden
Where: The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (doors open at 9 a.m.) Saturday and Sunday at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
Why go: A Chinese festival including a 70-foot dancing dragon, martial arts, Chinese calligraphy, painting, authentic regional cuisine, tai chi and tea tasting.
Pricing: The cost for admission to the festival is $12 adults (ages 13-64), $10 for seniors (ages 65+), $5 children (ages 3-12), and $5 members.
TASTE OF MAPLEWOOD STREET FESTIVAL in Maplewood
Where: The festival is from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday on Sutton Boulevard.
Why go: Enjoy this open market offering live music and delicious food, featuring Maplewood’s best boutiques and restaurants. Listen to the musical stylings from Kim Massie, Soulard Blues Band and House of Bishops on the main stage, as well as local talent on the community stage.
Pricing: There is no admission charge, just the cost of food and beverages.
ART WALK IN GRAND CENTER Grand area
Where: This event will take place on Friday, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Grand Center.
Why go: Enjoy live music in Strauss Park by The Jeremiah Johnson Bandand entertainment while viewing the latest exhibitions at the galleries and museums in Grand Center during this annual spring walk. End the night at 8 p.m. with an outdoor screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic, Spellbound.
Pricing: There will be a free shuttle between galleries and an opportunity to collect gallery passport stamps, which may be redeemed for discounts.
2011 SHAW PERFORMING ARTS AND CRAFTS FESTIVAL in the Shaw Neighborhood
Where: The festival will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in multiple venues in the Shaw neighborhood. The Glass Menagerie will be performed at the Mullanphey- Botanical Garden School and the Outdoor Film Festival will take place at the Sherman Elementary School Schoolyard.
Why go: Enjoy a family friendly festival with ballet, tango, music, arts, crafts, a performance of Tennessee Williams, The Glass Menagerie, as well as screenings of Ghost Busters and Dream Girls and more.
Pricing: Most individual events are $5. Outdoor Film Festival admission is $1. A weekend pass for combined events is $10. Please check the festival website for details.
JERSEY BOYS at The Fabulous Fox
Where:Â The performances will be at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Theatre.
Why go: This musical won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, and depicts The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi.
 Pricing: Tickets range in price trom $33 to $90.

MISSOURI BREW FESTÂ in Maryland Heights
Where: The fest will be on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Westport Plaza
Why go: Listen to live music and taste beers from a variety of local breweries. Participating restaurants include Dierdorf & Hart's, Growler's Pub and Trainwreck Saloon.
Pricing: Admission is $20 and includes a sampling beer pilsner, all beer samples and live entertainment. Food and event T-shirts will be available for purchase. All proceeds go to the Kids With Cancer charity.Â
CREVE COEUR DAYS in Creve Coeur
Where: This event will be at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Why go: Experience rides for children of all ages and to enjoy a great day out.
Pricing: Admission is free with parking available. Rides and food are extra.
