Burglary Alert: Jewelry Stolen from Town and Country Home

The burglary occurred Monday afternoon and police have identified a man they are considering wanted.

Police are searching for a Farmington man after a home was burglarized Monday between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. in the 13300 block of Cross Land Drive off of Mason Road located just south of Clayton Road.

According to an email from Town and Country police, someone broke a rear basement door window to gain entry to the home and stole several pieces of jewelry from the second floor bedrooms.

The email stated that police believe the thief tried to sell the stolen jewelry on the same day at a gold buyer business in Bridgeton.  

An employee recognized the person from previous information provided by detectives from another agency.

Investigators are now searching for Bruce Voegtlin of the 3600 block of Griffith in the Farmington area. He was last seen in a 1998 Ford Explorer with Missouri plates KF6-V9F.
