Many West County and other St. Louis-area residents would welcome an Ikea store to the area.

A new rumor of the store coming has caught local consumers' attention and created much chatter.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the store remains a rumor and could still be a few years away. According to the article, the store could go in the Hadley Township area near Interstate 40 and Hanley Road, but the developer is focused on filling up the 62 properties of the area.

So as fans of reasonably-priced furniture all over the city wait anxiously for the official word on an Ikea store within driving distance, what are your thoughts?
