Manchester House Fire Deemed Suspicious

The is now investigating a house fire that broke out Monday afternoon in the 800 block of Dinard Drive.

 Spokesperson Kim Bacon tells Patch that fire investigators and the fire marshal have now deemed the fire suspicious.

The was called to a house fire Monday afternoon; no one was injured.

Fire department spokesperson Kim Bacon said fire crews were called by a neighbor who heard windows breaking.

Bacon said the fire in the 800 block of Dinard Drive appears to have started in the front of the single-story home and spread through the ceiling. Crews got the call from a neighbor who heard windows breaking in the front of the house.

One person is now displaced, but Bacon said he and his pets were not at home at the time of the fire.

No firefighters were injured while battling the blaze. No word as of Monday night on the cause of the blaze.
