Parkway Central Student Faces Harassment Charge
Chesterfield Police tell Patch an 18-year-old Parkway Central High School student is charged with harassment after texting a girl and her friends.

Chesterfield Police tell Patch an 18-year-old Parkway Central High School student is charged with harassment. Investigators said the charge against the male student is primarily due to him texting a 17-year-old girl and her friends. Authorities said the high school senior has not officially been charged yet.
Police said they were notified of the incident by parents, who also notified school officials.
According to KMOV-TV, the student was kicked out of school and is now waiting an expulsion hearing.

Parkway school officials tell Patch they are unable to comment on the issue due to student privacy laws, but in a statement to Patch, Parkway District spokesperson Cathy Kelly said, "We don't tolerate harassment of any kind, take every incident very seriously and will do whatever it takes to keep students safe. We're confident our handling of this situation has been both fair and appropriate."
