Police Issue Willowbend Apartments Crime Alert
Town and Country police are warning residents of recent overnight thefts from cars. Authorities are reminding residents to lock their car doors.

Town and Country Police issued the following crime alert after recent thefts from theΒ Willowbend Apartment complex.

Since March 24, police have responded to four reports of items stolen from vehicles. Additionally, a Willowbend resident reported that someone had ransacked the inside of her unlocked vehicle, however nothing was taken. All of the thefts occurred overnight and all of the vehicles were unlocked.

"Of the hundreds vehicles parked at the Willowbend Apartments, the only vehicles targeted to date have been those which were unlocked; proving that a locked vehicle is aΒ deterrent," police stated in the alert. "To minimize your likelihood of becoming a victim, be sure to remove or store valuables out of sight and LOCK your vehicle(s)."
