Thieves Target Unlocked Cars in Manchester

Manchester police are investigating a number of reports by residents who had items stolen from unlocked vehicles.

Sept. 16: 1600 blockΒ Dalton Terrace

Stealing: A male called police to report that his unlocked vehicle had been rummaged through. The victim stated his cell phone and cash wereΒ stolen from his vehicle.

Sept. 16: 300 blockΒ Autumn Creek

Tampering: A residentΒ reported to police his vehicle had been broken into and tampered with. Nothing inside the vehicle was stolen.

Sept. 16: 1600 blockΒ Carman Manor Court

Stealing: A residentΒ reported to police his vehicle was unlocked and items were stolen.Β This case is under investigation by the detective bureau.

Sept. 16: 1600 blockΒ Carman Glen Court

Stealing: Police received a call about items being stolen from anΒ unlocked vehicle overnight.Β This report will be forwarded to the detective bureau for review and possible follow-up investigation.
