Thieves Targeting Open Garages in Manchester

August 15: 800 block Mallard Woods Drive

Stealing: A resident reported a red golf bag and a set of golf clubs were stolen from an open garage. Police said the theft happened in the morning, but during daylight hours. Detectives are now investigating.

August 11: Stonegate Plaza

Stealing: Detectives are investigating a report of $165 in cash being stolen from a business overnight. Investigators point out there were no signs of forced entry.  

August 9: 900 block Century Oaks Drive

Stealing: Detectives are investigating after a resident told police two Stihl chainsaws were stolen from an open garage during the day.  

August 9:  14100 block Manchester Road

Stealing: A restaurant customer left without paying for the meal valued at $15.99.
