Update: Parkway South Competes in Worldwide Robotics Competition

The Parkway South High School robotics team didn't win the world championship, but their dedication and enthusiasm was that of champions.

Parkway South High School didn't take win the world championship at the FIRST World Robotics Championship.

According to the FIRST website, the Parkway South team finished 32nd out of 88 teams in their district.

The three-day event at the Edward Jones Dome in downtown St. Louis wrapped up Saturday.

Team Captain Brad Tucker tells Town and Country - Manchester Patch they were using with a defensive strategy, trying to keep the other teams from scoring. They may not have left the event as world champions, but they are certainly a dedicated group of students who welcome the challenges brought by the competition and creation of their robot.
