Westminster Christian Academy Hires Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach

Westminster names Dale Ribble as head varsity boys basketball coach and physical education teacher.

Westminster Christian Academy has recently named Dale Ribble as head varsity boys basketball coach. Ribble brings more than 20 years of college coaching experience to his new position. He will also serve as a physical education teacher at Westminster.

“Coach Ribble is committed to our relational coaching model with a sincere desire to see lives transformed through the vehicle of basketball,” says Lindsay Carlile, interim athletic director at Westminster. “We are so blessed to have him joining our team at Westminster, not only as our varsity basketball coach, but also as a full-time member of our teaching faculty in the physical education department.”

Ribble received his undergraduate degree in business marketing from Missouri State University. He enjoyed a successful playing career at Missouri State, competing in two NCAA tournaments, two NIT tournaments, and earning MVAC All-Academic honors. After graduation, Ribble elected to serve as a graduate assistant at Hastings College, where he earned his MAT. His previous work experience includes serving as head basketball coach at Lindenwood University from 1997-2001. Following his time at Lindenwood, Ribble continued his coaching career in various capacities at Missouri State University, Drury University, State Fair Community College, and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Most recently, Ribble founded Crosscourt Basketball Academy, an organization coordinating youth clinics, camps, and instruction with a faith-based focus.
