Westminster Christian Academy Hires Upper School Guidance Counselor
Westminster names Craig Walseth as Upper School Guidance Counselor.

Westminster Christian Academy has named current middle school counselor Craig Walseth as upper school guidance counselor, effective August 1, 2015. Walseth will provide academic, social, emotional, and spiritual support to students, families, and faculty.
“I am looking forward to listening to the hearts of people,” says Walseth. “Especially students, in order to draw out God’s story and plan for their lives.”
Walseth received his bachelor’s degree in Adolescent Studies from Judson University and his master’s in Counseling from Covenant Seminary. Walseth is a licensed counselor and has been at Westminster for nine years. Previously, he spent time in ministry and social work.

“I’m excited to hear students’ passion and challenges and guide them toward God’s work - even when they don’t understand it,” says Walseth. “As image bearers, it’s a great honor to engage those that stand before me hoping for more of God’s design.”
