Westminster Spanish Students Score Well on National Spanish Examinations
Westminster Christian Academy world language students place in silver, bronze, and honorable mention categories for recent exam.

Congratulations to several Westminster Christian Academy world language students who attained national recognition for excellent performance on the 2016 National Spanish Examinations.
Westminster students earned a total of 8 silver and 16 bronze medals along with 42 honorable mentions. “Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish Examinations is very prestigious,” said Kevin Cessna-Buscemi, National Director of the Exams, “because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with over 160,000 students participating in 2016.”
The National Spanish Examinations are standardized assessment tools given by teachers throughout the United States to measure proficiency and achievement of students who are studying Spanish as a second language. These tests, sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, are the most widely used Spanish tests in the United States.
