Westminster sophomore, Joshua Jones

Joshua Jones, a sophomore at Westminster Christian Academy, was recently selected as a violinist for membership in the 2016-2017 season of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Jones is one of approximately 100 young musicians admitted annually, by audition only, to the program. Youth Orchestra musicians receive coaching from STL Symphony musicians, participate in master classes with visiting guest artists, work with STL Symphony staff to learn about a musician’s role beyond performance, and have the opportunity to present three concerts per season in historic Powell Hall.
